The XI International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" in Vitebsk was held in a more expanded format compared to the previous year, and next year its program is planned to be supplemented with presentation areas of foreign enterprises. This was announced to journalists by Anzhelika Nikitina, Deputy Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, summing up the results of the event."The forum was very positive, the atmosphere at the presentation area was open and dialogical. There were many participants in the sections. Almost 70 enterprises joined the forum online. Issues of cooperation and integration were discussed very closely. There are already certain intentions for cooperation in terms of supplying food and flax products, and agreements on supplying Vitebsk elevators. People communicated at different venues, exchanged contacts. And even now, on the second day of the forum, there is a response - representatives of Russian regions are calling, asking about specific enterprises. A lot of young people come to the demonstration area, they get acquainted with the educational institutions that are presented here. In general, guests and participants responded positively to the organization of such joint locations where enterprises and universities, colleges of the region are located side by side. Everyone is interested in where personnel are trained for certain enterprises and organizations, so such a symbiosis yields positive results," said Anzhelika Nikitina.

She added that foreign guests were inspired by their participation in the forum. Next year, the organizers expect to expand the format and place presentation areas of enterprises from various countries next to the industrialists of the Vitebsk region so that they can demonstrate their potential.

At the final event, awards were presented to 19 organizations of the Vitebsk region that became winners of the "Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus" competition for 2022. The title of laureates of this competition was awarded to 34 products of enterprises from the northern region. Also, representatives of youth received awards for academic success and participation in various professional skills competitions, and 8 enterprises from the Vitebsk region became laureates of the Regional Executive Committee Prize for achievements in the field of quality based on the results of last year's work.
