October 24, Minsk /Tatyana Ivanyuk - BELTA/. Filling stations of the "Belneftekhim" concern system (mainly these are filling stations of the "Belarusneft" production association) will fully switch to selling winter diesel fuel from November 1. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the concern's press service.

"Winter diesel fuel has been arriving at the republic's filling stations since mid-October, however, it takes some time for it to completely replace the summer fuel," the concern explained. "Arctic" class diesel fuel, which can be used at temperatures of minus 32 degrees Celsius and above, will be supplied to filling stations later, depending on weather conditions.

The press service noted that some filling stations still have residual amounts of fuel that were not sold last year, however, its shelf life allows the product to be used. As for seasonal fuel, which is still on sale at filling stations and is intended for use in warm weather, it can be used at temperatures down to minus 5 degrees Celsius without detriment to the car engine.

In addition, the concern recommended that car owners completely remove summer fuel when switching, as residual amounts deteriorate filterability indicators when mixed.

Belarusian oil refineries (OJSC "Mozyr Oil Refinery" and "Naftan") switched to the production of winter diesel fuel of grade F from October 15, which has a limit filterability temperature not exceeding minus 20 degrees Celsius.

Currently, there are 806 filling stations in Belarus, of which 544 are part of the "Belneftekhim" concern system.
