On December 5, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Over 100 trampolinists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Lithuania will gather in Vitebsk for the open tournament "Slavic Games" for prizes of Honoured Master of Sports, six-time World Champion, seven-time European Champion, participant of the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games Dmitry Polyarush, the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. The competitions will be held from December 14 to 17 in the specialized hall of SDYUSSHOR No. 2. Participants will compete in individual and team events in three age categories: up to 13 years old and younger, 13-16 years old, 17 years old and older. The grand opening of the tournament will take place on December 15. It is noteworthy that this event will coincide with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the sports school, on the basis of which the tournament will be held. In honour of this significant date, tournament participants, students and former graduates of the educational institution have prepared a demonstration programme. The award ceremony for the winners of the "Slavic Games" with valuable prizes, diplomas and medals will take place on December 17.
