On November 14, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yury Ambrazevich, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Xie Xiaoyong. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The interlocutors discussed the outcomes of the II Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, held on October 31 and November 1. The representative of China congratulated the Belarusian side on the successful organization of this event.

During the meeting, the importance of further work on building an equal and indivisible security architecture on the Eurasian continent and the formation of a new multipolar world order was emphasized, which aligns with the interests of all members of the international community.

The parties exchanged views on the cooperation between Belarus and China within international organizations, primarily the UN. They confirmed the consistently high level of cooperation and mutual support on multilateral platforms in line with the strategic partnership between Minsk and Beijing. They also discussed the progress of the Chinese initiative to establish an International Organization for Mediation, including steps for its joint promotion among CIS member states.
