Belarus and Pakistan have agreed to expand cooperation in the economic sphere. The purpose of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Islamabad was to intensify bilateral relations on a wide range of issues with a focus on trade, economic and investment cooperation. "Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to expand cooperation in the fields of economy, scientific and technical cooperation, justice, culture and education," the press service reported.
Valentin Rybakov was accompanied by a delegation comprising representatives of the Council of Ministers Apparatus, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Industry, Justice, the State Committee on Science and Technology, the National Agency of Investment and Privatisation, OJSC "Minsk Tractor Works", "Naftan", "Mogotex", and the National Library of Belarus.
