This was announced today to journalists in St. Petersburg by the Prime Minister of Belarus, Sergey Sidorsky, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. According to the Prime Minister, the ministries of agriculture of the two countries are actively engaged in dialogue, discussing the prospects for supplies of meat and dairy products. It is expected that a document will be signed at the meeting of the collegiums of the two ministries, which will determine how agricultural products will be supplied. "We are currently finalizing the preparation of documents with the Government of Russia on the single economic space of the Customs Union, and one of the issues is work in the agricultural markets," said Sergey Sidorsky. "This agreement is highly advanced, and experts in both Minsk and Moscow are working on it." According to the Prime Minister of Belarus, the agreement on agricultural product supplies will be signed before January 1 of next year. "We are moving towards making it profitable for Belarusian producers to work in the Russian market, and vice versa. This document should resolve all issues," he added. Sergey Sidorsky also recalled that Belarus and Russia have already made all decisions regarding sanitary and phytosanitary control.
