"We are pleased that such a well-prepared and experienced diplomat and statesman has arrived as the Ambassador of the Russian Federation. You have arrived at a time when we are having very active bilateral interaction on all projects. We are developing cooperation in all areas, and this year's agenda is very rich," said Roman Golovchenko. "The Government of Belarus is involved in all these processes. My colleague, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, and I are actively working on documents to deepen the economic integration of our countries, and to create conditions for economic entities that would allow us to develop in a coordinated manner and leverage each other's advantages. The role of ambassadors in this is very important."

The Prime Minister noted that important events such as the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, meetings of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, and the Council of Ministers of the Union State are scheduled for this year. "I am confident that you will quickly and deeply immerse yourself in our bilateral agenda and will interact with us actively and constructively," he stressed.

Yevgeny Lukyanov noted that in bilateral interaction, it is necessary to achieve a synergistic effect from clearly coordinated efforts of different instances and competencies. "It is difficult to find an analogue in the world to the quality of bilateral relations that exists between our countries. This is a great achievement of both the leaders of our states and the ministries and departments on both sides, as well as diplomatic missions," he stressed.
