29 November, Hanoi /Olga Belyavskaya - BELTA/. Belarus and Vietnam have concluded a package of new agreements on the development of bilateral cooperation today. The documents were signed following the negotiations between the Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and the Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
An intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of education and an intergovernmental agreement on the temporary employment of citizens have been signed. In addition, a number of interdepartmental agreements have been concluded, including between the Ministries of Justice of Belarus and Vietnam on cooperation in the field of judicial expertise. A memorandum of understanding between the State Customs Committee of Belarus and the General Department of Customs of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam on cooperation in the exchange of customs statistics data for bilateral trade has been signed.
New contracts for the supply of potash fertilizers to Vietnam have been concluded. A memorandum of cooperation between Minsk Automobile Plant, Minsk Motor Plant and the Vietnamese company "Veam" has been signed, as well as a memorandum of cooperation between Minsk Motor Plant and the Vietnamese companies "Veam" and "Disoco".
As emphasized by the Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich at a briefing, the signed documents will contribute to closer development of contacts between the countries. "The agreements and contracts of MAZ, Minsk Motor Plant, Belarusian Potash Company, and "Belgorkhimprom" indicate that we are on the right track," said the head of the Belarusian government.-0-
