24 October, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Belarus will not switch its clocks to seasonal time on the last Sunday of October. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the State Committee for Standardization. In accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of Belarus of 15 September 2011 No. 1229, the switching of clocks to seasonal time (spring and autumn) is not carried out on the territory of Belarus. The decision to cancel the annual clock change on the last Sunday of March forward by one hour and on the last Sunday of October backward by one hour was made last year to ensure time calculation is coordinated with the member states of the Customs Union. Currently, the issue of returning to seasonal clock changes in the republic is not being considered, the State Committee for Standardization emphasized. -0-
