"Simultaneously with the final coupon payment amounting to $43.75 million, the Ministry of Finance transferred funds to the paying agent (Deutsche Bank AG, London) for the redemption of the debut issue of government bonds," the department noted.
Despite this redemption, the republic will maintain its presence on the eurobond market, with a 7-year issue worth $800 million remaining in circulation until January 26, 2018.
According to Bloomberg, as of the close of international financial markets on July 27, 2015, the average yield to maturity for this loan was 8.6% per annum.
