On June 21, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. Belarus has received the first tranche of the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund loan amounting to $800 million. The funds have been credited to the account of the Ministry of Finance of Belarus in the National Bank. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent by the National Bank of Belarus. They are automatically included in the gold and foreign exchange reserves. On June 9, 2011, an Agreement between Belarus and the Eurasian Development Bank on granting a financial loan to our republic from the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund was signed in Minsk. The total loan amount is $3 billion. The Agreement provides for the funds to be transferred to the republic in six tranches during 2011-2013. The second tranche is expected by the end of this year, tentatively in October. The total loan amount this year will be $1.24 billion. The remaining amount will be provided in equal tranches twice a year over the next two years (2012-2013). The estimated payments by Belarus on the loan should not exceed 4.9% per annum. The loan is provided for a period of 10 years with a moratorium on principal repayment for 3 years. The loan terms and conditions are maximally consistent with the standard approaches of international financial organizations in implementing stabilization programs. The received funds will be directed towards supporting the economic policy measures program for the medium term developed by the government and the National Bank, i.e., for replenishing international reserve assets and financing the balance of payments deficit of the Republic of Belarus.-0-
