August 6, Minsk /BELTA/. The Belarusian team will take part in the Baltic countries' fire and rescue sport championship. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus.
"The competitions will be held in the Lithuanian city of Telšiai from August 6 to 8. Teams from Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia will participate in the championship," the ministry said.
The tournament will be held in four competitive disciplines: overcoming a 100-meter obstacle course; climbing to the 4th floor of a training tower using a assault ladder; 4x100m fire relay race; and deployment from a motor pump. -0-
