13 July, Minsk /Olga Belyavskaya - BELTA/. Belarus expects an improvement in its ranking among countries with the most favourable conditions for doing business. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Andrei Kobyakov, today at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. According to the assessment of the Ministry of Economy, based on the analysis of interim information on the results of work to improve Belarus's ranking in the World Bank's "Doing Business-2011" report, the country's position, taking into account the measures implemented before June 1 of this year, could be improved by approximately 10 points. "That is, they expect us to be in 48th place," Andrei Kobyakov clarified. However, a more precise assessment of the extent to which the measures taken by Belarus will influence the ranking is only possible when the World Bank conducts an analysis taking into account the results of reforms in other countries.
