Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed the Law "On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on Mutual Protection of Secret Information". BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
This agreement was signed in Minsk on March 7, 2025, during the official visit of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing, to Belarus.
The agreement is concluded for the mutual provision of protection for secret information and in the interests of strengthening friendly relations between the countries. This will create a legal framework for the protection of state secrets of Belarus in the course of bilateral cooperation with Myanmar in military, military-technical, scientific-technical, and other fields.
