The Head of State refuted idle talk that Belarus allegedly wants to withdraw from this agreement.
"Someone is trying to reproach me (I've been tracking this after our dialogue with journalists) that Lukashenko wants to leave the Eurasian Union. Good heavens. It's much simpler why this question arose," explained the President of Belarus. "Our opposition began to reproach me and the authorities for signing this agreement, from which it is impossible to withdraw. I am reacting to this - read the agreement."
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that no country signs agreements from which it is impossible to withdraw. "Therefore, if it becomes too painful and tight, it is possible to withdraw from any agreement, including the Eurasian Union. I was accused (but this is usual for me) that Lukashenko wants to withdraw from this agreement. Why? It is very beneficial for us, and we see prospects in it," said the Head of State.
