This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Alexey Glamozda, Deputy Director for Business Development of the development company "Generation-P Consulting" (a resident of the High-Tech Park). Currently, about 40 Belarusian hotels are available through the national hotel consolidator. Hotel accommodation can be booked through the official portal of Belarus Belarus.by (section "Tourism") and the portal of the National Tourism Agency, with which the national online booking system is integrated. In the coming months, the number of hotels offered for online booking is planned to be doubled. In addition, the national system is ready for integration with international consolidators. After joining them, Belarusian hotels will become available to hundreds of thousands of foreign tour operators. "During the negotiations, foreign colleagues showed great interest in the Belarusian system," noted Alexey Glamozda. "Since the system has national status, it will become a single point of access to most of the republic's hotels." Soon, through the online booking system, it will also be possible to book a recreation center, rent a car, order a car transfer or an excursion. The national consolidator plans to collect the majority of excursion programs around Belarus offered by travel agencies. Currently, there are about 1,000 excursion routes in the country. The national online booking system is an integral part of the Unified Tourism Information Network (ETIS) - a unified information space that includes a tourism internet portal, information terminals, etc. This large-scale project covers various aspects of domestic and inbound tourism.
