June 20, Minsk /BELTA/. Belarusbank will cease selling travellers cheques from August 1, BELTA was informed by the bank.
"In accordance with the decision of American Express (USA), the issuer of American Express travellers cheques, the sale of these travellers cheques in Belarus will be discontinued from August 1, 2013. In this regard, Belarusbank will sell American Express travellers cheques until July 31, 2013," the bank noted.
The purchase of American Express travellers cheques by Belarusbank will be carried out until November 30, 2013.
