May 22, Minsk /BelTA Corr./. The volume of credit resources attracted by OJSC "ASB Belarusbank" from foreign banks and financial companies reached $2.1 billion in January-April. These resources are directed towards the implementation of enterprises' investment projects. This was reported to BelTA by the bank's press service.

The resource base of Belarusbank increased by 8.6%, or Br13.7 trillion, in January-April 2014, reaching Br172.6 trillion. As of May 1, the regulatory capital amounted to Br21.6 trillion, and the authorised fund was Br16.7 trillion, or 1 billion 206 million euros. The volume of resources attracted through the placement of bonds among legal entities amounted to Br1.7 trillion, and Br2.8 trillion was attracted through bonds for individuals, the press service informed.

According to the latest data, the bank's credit portfolio amounts to Br122 trillion. The bank's activities in January-April 2014 were aimed at solving the tasks defined by the Main Development Indicators for 2014 and the Main Directions of Monetary Policy of the Republic of Belarus for 2014, the press service noted. -0-
