The "100 Ideas for Belarus" competition is a testament to this. "Hundreds, thousands of initiatives by gifted and talented youth are not lost today in a wave of enthusiasm, but are being realised," noted Andrei Belyakov.
He emphasised that thanks to the support of the Head of State, significant attention has been paid to the project, including the allocation of grants for the winners of the "100 Ideas for Belarus" competition. And today, this is a real support for young innovators and inventors.
The student team movement is gaining momentum. The Second Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee stressed that the support of the Head of State and the governors played a huge role in achieving the result.
"It is necessary to solve another pressing task of the student team movement: to organise full-fledged mobile teams between districts and regions of Belarus, not only by providing the necessary scope of work and wages, but also by creating living and catering conditions for the student team members, and most importantly, by organising serious educational work," believes Andrei Belyakov.
The BRSM's "Kind Heart" volunteer movement, which unites over 25,000 young men and women across the country, is gaining importance in the lives of young people.
"The student team and volunteer movements carry both labour and educational momentum," noted the Second Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee. "Those who worked in a student team, built their native Belarus, who helped veterans and people in trouble, will not be wandering the streets and squares with slogans that destroy the peaceful order of our country."
One of the most important tasks facing the BRSM is to engage young people in useful, interesting activities and to promote a healthy lifestyle. "Cultural and leisure activities are far from mere entertainment. It is about competing for the free time of young people. At this age, there are many temptations and lures. There can be no vacuum here! And our task is to provide a healthy alternative," said Andrey Belyakov.
