In the final race, Alina Talay showed a result of 7.87 seconds. Nigerian representative Tobi Amusan took second place (7.89 seconds). American athlete Christina Clemons came third (7.89 seconds). Belarusian Elvira Herman failed to qualify for the final stage in this discipline.

Another Belarusian, Darya Borisiewicz, competing in the 1500m race, finished fifth in the final standings with a time of 4 min 6.77 sec.

Her teammate, competing in the long jump, Anastasia Mironchik-Ivanova also took fifth place with a jump of 6.50 m.
