As of July 30, grain and leguminous crops have been harvested from 713.7 thousand hectares, which constitutes 33.4% of the planned area. A total of over 2 million tons of grain has been threshed nationwide, with an average yield of 29 centners per hectare. This year, the mass harvesting campaign began earlier compared to last year. As of July 30, 2017, agricultural producers had threshed 519.5 thousand tons of grain.
Brest Oblast leads in terms of work pace, having harvested 66.4% of its plan. Grodno Oblast has harvested 51.7% of its areas, Minsk Oblast - 32.7%, Gomel Oblast - 28.3%, Vitebsk Oblast - 12.29%, and Mogilev Oblast - 8.18% of their respective areas.
