The spring session of the Belarusian Parliament opens on April 2. Deputies of the House of Representatives will consider the ratification of agreements on simplifying visa issuance and on the readmission of persons staying without permission, BELTA was informed by the press service of the House of Representatives.
A total of eight issues are included in the agenda of the House of Representatives meeting. In the first reading, it is planned to consider amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code, as well as the draft law "On Amendments to the Codes," which concerns issues of appealing enforcement measures to court.
In the second reading, amendments to the law on the Belarusian Red Cross Society will be presented. In addition to visa agreements with the EU, legislators intend to consider the ratification of the treaty with Moldova on social security, and with Tajikistan – on strategic partnership. The agenda also includes the ratification of the protocol on amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014. As explained by the press service, this concerns the formation of a common electricity market of the EAEU.
The spring session also opens on April 2 in the Council of the Republic.
