In accordance with the approximate work schedule of the House of Representatives, the second meeting of the first session of the lower house of parliament will be held on November 15. A joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, during which the government will answer questions from parliamentarians, will take place on November 28. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusy will address the deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic. His report will focus on the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex as a significant resource for the development of the country's economy and the well-being of the people. The House of Representatives of the fifth convocation began its work on October 18, when deputies formed the working bodies of the session, elected Vladimir Andreichenko as Chairman of the House of Representatives, and Viktor Guminsky as his deputy. On the same day, the parliamentary corps decided to establish 14 standing commissions. Their chairmen were elected by secret ballot by parliamentarians on October 23 during the continuation of the first meeting of the first session of the House of Representatives. In addition, on October 23, deputies decided to form the Council of the House of Representatives, which includes the Chairman of the House of Representatives and his deputy, as well as the chairmen of all 14 standing commissions. During the continuation of the first meeting of the first session of the House of Representatives on October 24, deputies approved the deputies of the chairmen of the standing commissions. Parliamentarians nominated candidates for this position at their commission meetings.
