This was announced today to journalists by Andrei Savinykh, Head of the Information Department - Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. Polling stations have been established in 32 countries, with Belarusian citizens being able to vote for the first time in Azerbaijan and Armenia. In addition, 3 polling stations have been set up for newly opened foreign institutions, opened last year and this year – these are the Consulates General in Munich and Istanbul, as well as the branch of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia in Rostov-on-Don. As noted by Andrei Savinykh, polling stations established outside Belarus are assigned to Kupalovsky Electoral District No. 95. On election day, voting will take place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM local time. Belarusian citizens who are unable to come to the polling station on election day can exercise their electoral right early between September 18 and 22. Andrei Savinykh emphasized that the voter lists include Belarusian citizens whose residence in a foreign country is confirmed at the time of compilation of the list, as well as citizens on long-term business trips abroad. Belarusian citizens who have arrived in a foreign country for private, official, business, or tourist trips may be included in the list.
