Belarusian laboratories meet global standards. This was stated on the air of the programme "Kontury" on the ONT television channel by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, Igor Brylo, according to BELTA.
According to the Deputy Minister, there are systems that accredit Belarusian laboratories. "Therefore, our laboratories meet not only the Russian level, but also the global level," said Igor Brylo.
He guaranteed that low-quality products from Belarusian factories simply cannot be shipped out for a number of reasons. Control begins in the raw material zone; mini-laboratories are installed on each dairy farm, where the first milk analysis is carried out, and only after receiving the research results, within 10-15 minutes, the products are sent to the factories.
Igor Brylo noted that in September 2015, standard 1598 2006 "Cow's milk. Procurement requirements" was tightened. The upper limit for microorganism content was reduced from 4 million to 500 thousand, meaning the requirements for the number of microorganisms per millilitre were tightened by almost eight times. According to him, the second grade of milk, which remains in Russia today, has been excluded in Belarus.
