On August 25, Minsk / Irina Aniskevich - BELTA /. Belarusian oil refineries will increase oil refining depth to 92% in the future. This is stated in the energy potential development strategy of Belarus, which was approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 1180 and covers the period up to the end of 2020. In 2009, the oil refining depth at Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC was 70%, and at Naftan OJSC - 73%. Increasing the refining depth from 2010 and in the future will allow enterprises to ensure product quality that meets the requirements of European Union countries.
This year, Naftan plans to commission a delayed coking unit with a capacity of 1.6 million tons under a license from Foster Wheeler (Spain) and related new units (hydrogen, sulfur). The reconstruction of existing units (sulfur removal, hydrotreating) and a vacuum unit for processing bitumen with a capacity of 1.6 million tons will be completed. The volume of financing for investment projects will amount to Br4.1 trillion, including bank loans (including foreign ones) - Br2.7 trillion. The oil refining depth at the plant will increase to 92%.
Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC plans to construct a complex for hydrocracking heavy oil residues as part of the main hydrocracking unit with a capacity of 3 million tons under a license from Axens (France), and to modernize hydrogen and sulfur production and the general plant facilities. The volume of financing for the projects will amount to Br3.4 trillion, including bank loans (including foreign ones) - Br2 trillion. The oil refining depth at the plant will increase to 90%. -0-
