The institute has also developed the KrokApp mobile application for the Android platform, which allows users to listen to interesting historical and architectural facts, legends, and useful tips while on the move. KrokApp turns a city into a living museum. Currently, KrokApp provides information on over 20 cities in Belarus. The mobile application offers content in three languages: Belarusian, English, and Russian. It is also planned to add information about attractions not only in all 110 cities of Belarus but also in the remaining 27,000 settlements. The possibility of adding user-generated content by tour guides, local historians, historians, and other users on the Wikipedia principle is also planned.
