This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Sergey Martynov, on July 23 at a meeting with the heads of Belarusian foreign institutions, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. This event is the final one within their training. "Foreign institutions must be at the forefront of solving state-level objectives," the minister said. The head of the Belarusian foreign policy department emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, not in words but in deeds, must be a leading department on the country's external borders. Sergey Martynov noted that the program of the current training for ambassadors was structured to cover the key aspects of their activities. "I expect that during the meetings with the Prime Minister and heads of sectors, you have received a lot of necessary information, felt the rhythm and nature of the state's work in the current conditions," the minister said. "At these meetings, tasks were set for Belarusian foreign institutions, which are formed from external and internal factors. I expect you to start implementing them immediately." The annual training for heads of foreign institutions took place in Minsk from July 12 to July 23. During this period, a series of seminars and consultations were organized, at which heads of ministries, state committees, and concerns addressed the diplomats. The meetings discussed current trends in innovative development, strengthening transit potential, the needs of economic sectors for foreign investment, and tasks for promoting high-tech products in foreign markets. Heads of foreign institutions exchanged views on methods for unlocking the potential of Belarusian FEZs. Special attention was paid to the implementation of strategies for consolidating Belarusian enterprises in foreign markets. A round table on the role of marketing services and a contact exchange with the participation of heads of exporting enterprises were held at the BelCCI. In turn, Belarusian diplomats shared their experience in improving the efficiency of the foreign trade services of Belarusian exporters. Special attention this year was paid to promoting Belarus's tourism potential.
