"For the New Year, all sanatoriums will be at 100% capacity, with vouchers sold long before the holidays. The period for New Year arrivals is from December 25 to January 8. This 14-day period is in the highest demand in terms of overall voucher sales. Although some sanatoriums also sold 7-day vouchers for foreigners," noted Gennady Bolbatovsky.
He emphasised that the medical facilities of the institutions will operate unchanged throughout the festive period, with the range of services including the standard package of medical procedures.
"In addition, the New Year arrivals include additional activities – excursion festive programmes, shopping tours for foreigners, prayers for Catholic and Orthodox Christmas. Almost all institutions will organise festive performances for children, outdoor festivities with traditional national cuisine dishes, concerts by stars of the Belarusian stage, and a New Year's banquet," added Gennady Bolbatovsky.
