The project will start on February 27 in the village of Opytny, Minsk District, near the new hospice building. As Ekaterina Sevostyanchuk explained, the project includes a series of corporate volunteer workdays, which will be held from the end of February to mid-June. "Companies whose employees are willing to provide assistance for the speedy completion of the construction of the new children's hospice building are invited to participate in the volunteer workdays," said the interviewee. "After the workday, the company's employees pass the baton of kindness to another organisation with which they cooperate or compete – against the backdrop of the new building, they record a video message to a potential participant of the challenge project, post the video on social media and on their websites. The company to which the 'challenge' is addressed must either accept it and come to the volunteer workday, or make a charitable donation for the purchase of equipment and outfitting of the new children's hospice building (or both)."
The project organisers justified the name "17 Good Deeds" by the fact that there are 17 weeks left until the opening of the new children's hospice building, and expressed hope that the challenge project will be highly active.
In addition, parallel to the challenge project, public volunteer workdays are being organised (once a month), in which well-known media personalities will work alongside caring citizens.
