She noted that the competition is being held under the project "Eastern Partnership Climate Change Forum (Phase 2)". The grant amount is 9,900 euros.
According to project coordinator Tatiana Lukashevich, one of the competition conditions is that the future mini-project must be implemented within 6 months, starting from November 2016. It is also necessary to conduct training on the development of organisational strategies for a network of interested non-governmental organisations and to start working on social networks. "We expect the grant to help organisations strengthen their potential through closer cooperation with other non-governmental organisations and local authorities," she said.
Mini-projects will be evaluated based on criteria such as sustainability, creativity, the use of innovative methods and practices, interaction with state and non-state structures, ensuring the transparency of implemented activities, and an optimal cost-benefit ratio, among others.
Applications are accepted until September 23, and the results will be announced no later than September 29, 2016. The BRCS will provide informational and methodological assistance to organisations whose mini-projects are recognised as competition winners. Financial support will be provided by the Austrian Red Cross.
