Belarus will participate in the largest tourism exhibition World Travel Market (WTM), which will be held in London from November 3-6. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Svetlana Gavrilova, Director of the National Tourism Agency.
The Belarusian stand will feature the National Tourism Agency, the Yubileynaya Hotel, the Minsk Information and Tourism Centre, and the tour companies Prime Tour, Alatan Tour, and Viapol. Also in November, representatives of the Belarusian tourism business will participate in Tour&Travel Warsaw in Poland.
As Svetlana Gavrilova stated, a plan for participation in foreign exhibitions in 2015 is currently being developed. It is expected that holidays in Belarus will be presented in Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Moscow, Berlin, Paris, London, Vilnius, Warsaw, and Madrid.
WTM is the largest image-building event in the global tourism sector. Annually, the exhibition is visited by over 5,000 specialists, and about 5,000 exhibiting companies representing almost 200 countries take part in the exhibition. This year, special attention will be paid to digital technologies in the tourism industry (including the use of payment systems and online booking systems, mobile applications, social networks), the organisation of elite tours, and the presentation of hotel chains and air carriers. The exhibition will be held at the ExCeL London exhibition centre.
