31 January, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. RUE "Beltelecom" from February 1 will unify tariffs for landline subscribers making calls to mobile network subscribers. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the national telecommunications operator. Previously, landline phone owners had different tariffs for calls to CDMA and GSM networks depending on the mobile operator, but now the cost of such calls will be the same for all networks. The cost of a minute of phone conversation will vary only depending on the time of day and day of the week. Thus, on weekdays from 6:00 to 23:00, the cost of 1 minute will be Br295, and from 23:00 to 6:00 - Br199. On weekends and public holidays, 1 minute of conversation will cost Br199. Thus, calls from a landline phone to a mobile operator subscriber will become cheaper only when calling the velcom operator's network. For calls to other mobile operators' networks, phone conversations for landline subscribers will become more expensive.-0-
