19 April, Minsk /BELTA/. The Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising a business visit for representatives of Belarusian business circles to Uzbekistan, which will take place from 14 to 18 May. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk branch of the BelCCI. The purpose of the visit is to hold business meetings with Uzbek representatives of the light industry, as well as to visit the II International Exhibition "Footwear. Leather. Apparel and Accessories", which will be held in Tashkent. The exhibition forum will widely feature finished light industry products (footwear made of leather and faux leather, home footwear, rubber, felt, special and orthopedic footwear, fashion footwear collections, clothing made of cotton, wool, silk, leather goods, textiles, fur), components and accessories (raw materials for the production of footwear, apparel and accessories, care products for footwear, leather goods, textiles, fur, dyes, adhesives, chemical agents), as well as equipment and technologies for the production of footwear, leather goods, apparel and accessories. In addition, presentations of Belarusian manufacturers and a contact and cooperation exchange with potential partners from Uzbekistan are planned to attract investment, establish new partnerships and mutually beneficial cooperation. The event is organised by the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in conjunction with the Embassy of Belarus in Uzbekistan and with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.-0-
