30 November, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee is holding a tender for the lease of hunting grounds for the first time. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Deputy Chairman of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, Sergey Okunevich. Hunting grounds with a total area of 2.5 thousand hectares, including 2.1 thousand hectares of forest and 420 hectares of field, located in the reserve fund of hunting grounds of the Beshenkovichi District, are put up for auction scheduled for 12 December. The lease term is set at a minimum of 10 years. The tenant is offered to build a hunting complex, including a house with sleeping accommodations, a sauna, a kennel for dogs, and a processing area with a cold storage room. There are already 5 tenants of hunting grounds operating in the Beshenkovichi District. According to Sergey Okunevich, the emergence of another one will contribute to the further development of hunting tourism and the attraction of investments. The implementation of this project is planned within the framework of the regional program "500", which provides for the development of tourist infrastructure, including hunting tourism. In the Vitebsk region, 62 hunting grounds have been leased, including 15 managed by the Vitebsk State Production Forestry Association. -0-
