A person without rights has no place behind the wheel!

The high rate of road accidents is largely due to the deliberate violation of traffic regulations by certain categories of road users.

Often, their incorrect actions are caused by an overestimation of their abilities, excessive self-confidence, aggressive behaviour, lack of self-control and respect for other road users. It is not uncommon for citizens to deliberately get behind the wheel of a car or motorcycle without having the right to do so.

In all countries of the world, drivers without a driving license contribute significantly to accidents. Moreover, this category includes not only those who have no driving license at all, but also offenders who have been deprived of this right for past "exploits" on the road – driving vehicles while intoxicated, exceeding the established speed limit, violating maneuvering rules, rules for crossing intersections and pedestrian crossings, and others. In some cases, some drivers manage to accumulate a full "bouquet" of the aforementioned violations.

Why do drivers who have been deprived of their driving license cause road traffic accidents? Simply because this category of drivers drives a vehicle periodically, when it is "very necessary" and, naturally, they lose their vehicle control skills and forget the traffic regulations.

To combat this societal ailment, traffic police officers are assisted by preventive work and administrative measures in the form of fines, which are quite substantial – up to 20 base units for the first offence and up to 50 for a repeated similar violation within a year after the administrative penalty is imposed, or administrative arrest for up to 15 days may be applied to a repeat offender.

Remember, when getting behind the wheel of a vehicle without a driving license or handing over the control of a vehicle to a person who does not have such a license, one should not forget that any violation of traffic regulations, gross disregard for them, or indiscipline can cost lost health or life.
