Furthermore, in the pursuit of hot steam, avoid overheating the stove – overheating is another common cause of bathhouse fires.
Before lighting the stove, it is essential to check for draft. If there is no draft, the chimney should be warmed by burning a small amount of firewood. If the draft does not appear even after this, all the stove's flues need to be cleaned. When using the bathhouse, one must ensure that glowing embers do not fall out of the firebox, and when leaving, one should verify that all fuel has completely burned out.
There are instances where people simply forget that the bathhouse is being heated. A simple oversight can also lead to a fire. Therefore, constant vigilance over the stove's firebox is necessary.
It is no secret that damaged or improperly installed electrical wiring is a frequent cause of fires. Therefore, the installation of electrical wiring, especially if you have an electric bathhouse stove, should be taken very seriously.
