As part of the 2nd stage of the republican campaign "Safety in Every Home!", employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted preventive measures with final-year students of secondary schools in the city of Lepel and Lepel District.
Together with a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), the children discussed the sequence of actions in case of emergencies, reviewed safety measures on ice, and participated in a competition program. The engaging and interesting quiz "Where is the Logic?" was so popular with the children that they tried to be the first to answer the deciphered slides with words. After each answer, the inspector explained the topic of the task, cited cases of fires that occurred for this reason, and gave recommendations to prevent similar incidents.
During the event, it was possible to discuss the benefits of an autonomous fire alarm and recall the emergency services call number. The children considered which everyday items could be useful for extinguishing a fire and discussed their dangers.
The children listened with interest to the benefits of the mobile application "MES Belarus. Help is Nearby", and many installed it on their gadgets right during the event.
As a memento of the meeting with the rescuer, the children received a booklet of the republican campaign.
