Safety in every home

On February 2, Alexander Sadovsky, an inspector of the propaganda and public relations group, visited the day care unit of the Lepel District Territorial Social Services Centre as part of the first stage of the republican campaign "Safety in Every Home!". "To warn, to tell, to teach, and to avert danger!" is the rescuer's main goal.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to tragic examples of people dying in fires in the district. Fire emergencies were analysed with specific examples, including the tragic death of a man in the village of Borovka today. In an accessible manner, the inspector explained to the elderly people the principle of operation of an autonomous fire alarm, how to maintain it correctly, and gave examples of lives saved as a result of its activation. The rules for using electrical and gas appliances were explained. After watching the educational film "Behaviour in Case of Fire", the residents of the unit willingly answered quiz questions, with most of the answers being correct. The algorithm of actions in case of fire and the rules for calling rescuers were also discussed together. Mementos were presented to the active participants of the event. At the end of the meeting, the visitors of the day care unit performed creative numbers, and Alexander Sadovsky wished everyone good health and adherence to safety rules.
