Summer is the happiest and most dangerous time for all schoolchildren. Not only are children often left alone, but bodies of water also literally beckon them to swim and cool off in the summer heat.
Summer is the happiest and most dangerous time for all schoolchildren. Not only are children often left alone, but bodies of water also literally beckon them to swim and cool off in the summer heat. To ensure that children's holidays are beneficial and not overshadowed by any incidents, as part of the launched republican campaign "Holidays without Smoke and Fire," Lepel rescuers are visiting children's school camps in the Lepel district.
The children welcome the rescuers' visit with enthusiasm. And how else – after all, everyone has the opportunity to feel like a real rescuer. The children try on firefighting gear, breathe using compressed air apparatus, and can even sit behind the wheel of a fire truck.
During the events, rescuers hold discussions with the children on the basic rules of life safety during the summer period, including rules of conduct on bodies of water.
– Remember, under no circumstances hide under the bed or in a closet if a fire occurs; run outside and report the incident to adults, – the rescuers taught the children.
The children gladly participated in various games, actively engaged in dialogue, and shared their knowledge of life safety, accumulated during the academic year, with the rescuers.
The events pleased everyone, as everyone left in a good mood and gained invaluable "safe" knowledge for the summer holidays.
