"Safe New Year!"

The third stage of the republican campaign "Safe New Year!" was conducted by Lepel rescuers together with activists of the district branch of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters (BYPA) at the point of sale of pyrotechnic products, the "1000 мелочей" (1000 Trifles) store.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with young rescuers, conducted informational and explanatory work with customers – they explained the basic rules for using pyrotechnic products and fire safety rules when preparing for New Year and Christmas holidays, emphasizing that firecrackers and fireworks should only be purchased in specialized stores and that the instructions must be studied before use. Most importantly, children should be kept away from launching any type of pyrotechnics. As visual agitation, all visitors to the store were given brochures titled "Safe New Year!".
