12 July, Moscow /Eduard Pivovar - BELTA/. The XIX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" has become one of the most prominent joint projects of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. This was stated to journalists today by the Speaker of the State Duma of Russia, Boris Gryzlov, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
Thousands of people gather in Vitebsk annually to participate in the festival, Boris Gryzlov recalled. "I consider such an opportunity for representatives of fraternal peoples to meet, relax together, and communicate to be very important," he stressed.
Boris Gryzlov noted that other cultural projects also exist within the framework of the Union State. "I wish them to acquire the same scope and success in the future that the 'Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk' currently enjoys," said the Speaker of the State Duma. -0-
