This opinion was expressed today at the forum to a BELTA correspondent by Phan Huu Phuoc, Trade Advisor of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Belarus. "I have had the opportunity to participate in an investment forum in Vitebsk before. This time, investment projects from enterprises, organisations, and universities of the region are presented, which allow for a broad and comprehensive understanding of the region's potential in various fields," said the Trade Advisor of the Vietnamese Embassy. According to him, for investors and businessmen attending the forum, this is an excellent opportunity to get a complete picture of projects that can be implemented in the Vitebsk region. "As a representative of the embassy, I will provide all information about the projects proposed at the forum to representatives of our business circles. Undoubtedly, familiarisation with these projects will arouse the interest of potential investors," the interlocutor emphasised. Phan Huu Phuoc also noted that the trade and economic relations between Belarus and Vietnam are actively developing, despite the geographical distance, different mentalities, and climatic conditions. "In the first 8 months of this year alone, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to $140 million, practically reaching the 2010 level of $145 million," he said, recalling that about five years ago this figure was only $20-30 million.-0-
