27 January, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. A new subsistence minimum budget has been approved in Belarus, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection informed BELTA correspondent. Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 86 of 26 January of the current year approved the subsistence minimum budget on average per capita and by major socio-demographic groups in December 2011 prices, calculated for one month. The period of validity of these social standards is from 1 February to 30 April 2012. The subsistence minimum budget on average per capita from February will be Br706 thousand 880. The new subsistence minimum budget has increased by 23% compared to the standard that is valid from 1 November 2011 to 31 January 2012 (Br574 thousand 790). /To be continued/. -0-
