The President of Belarus has expressed gratitude to teachers and students of the country's higher education institutions. The corresponding order was signed by the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko on June 16, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
For fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities, significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and the development of creative abilities of talented youth, gratitude has been awarded to seven educators: Dmitry Voropayev, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; Marina Gutovskaya, Head of the Department of Germanic Linguistics of Belarusian State University; Alla Kalina, Head of the Department of Machine Science and Machine Parts of Belarusian National Technical University; Fyodor Nazarov, Associate Professor of the Department of Technologies and Mechanization of Animal Husbandry and Processing of Agricultural Products of Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University; Natalia Semchenko, Head of the Department of "Architecture and Construction" of Belarusian State University of Transport; Alexander Trofimuk, Head of the Department of Fundamental Mathematics of A.S. Pushkin Brest State University; and Irina Shchurok, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course at the Faculty of Professional Development and Retraining of Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University.
The President's gratitude has also been expressed to a group of students representing various universities of Belarus for excellent academic performance and active social work. Among the 18 individuals awarded are: Alexander Abramchuk, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Electronics of Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics; Ratmir Grishchenko, a fifth-year student of the Faculty of Romance Languages of Minsk State Linguistic University; Alesya Listopad, a fifth-year cadet of the Faculty of Civil Aviation of Belarusian State Academy of Aviation; and Vitalina Soloshko, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Primary Education of Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University.
