The well-being of ordinary families is evidence of Belarus's stability, said President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet to journalists today after visiting the Grishanov family in Begoml (Dokshytsy District), as reported by a BELTA correspondent. The meeting was held at the initiative of the distinguished guest, who wished to learn about the daily life of an ordinary family. Marina and Alexander Grishanovs have their own farm, a bathhouse, a vegetable garden, and keep a cow, a pig, and chickens. The President of Vietnam was interested in literally everything: how they keep livestock, what they use to heat the bathhouse, who helps the owners cultivate the garden, where they work, and how much they earn. After the farmstead was shown and he received answers to all his questions, as is customary among Belarusians, the Grishanovs did not let the guest leave without a treat. They treated the Vietnamese guests to salo, homemade sausages, cheese made according to family recipes, and a pie with apple jam. Leaving the hospitable home of the Grishanovs, the President of Vietnam noted that agriculture and transport are highly developed in Belarus. He was captivated by the hospitality and cordiality of Belarusians. "I saw how happy people are. Such families are a testament to the country's stability and well-being," said Nguyen Minh Triet.
