On November 29, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. The New Year's charity event "Letter to Ded Moroz" has been launched in Belarus. This was reported to BelTA by the organizers of the event – the volunteer community "Dobro tvori". The event, which will run until January 12 of next year, is being held for the first time. Its goal is to ensure that every child from boarding institutions feels warmth and human care on New Year's Day. More than 200 letters from orphans from all over Belarus will participate in the event. The list of wishes for Ded Moroz will be posted on the project's website. Any caring person can choose a gift from the list, purchase it for a child, and hand it over to the volunteers. Following the event, the organizers promise to publish a photo report. Concurrently, funds will be collected, which are planned to be used for organizing holidays in socio-pedagogical centers, boarding schools, and orphanages. Money is accepted to the volunteer wallet EasyPay 35261959 or to the settlement account 3013254190017 at the branch of OJSC "Belagroprombank" in Senno (Vitebsk region). After December 20, volunteers dressed as Ded Moroz and Snegurochka will deliver the collected gifts and hand them over to the children. It is expected that pop stars who cooperate with the project will also congratulate the orphans. The charity project "Dobro tvori" helps the Senno boarding school, Orphanage No. 1 (Minsk), the socio-pedagogical center with a shelter in Senno (Vitebsk region), Orphanage No. 7 (Minsk), and the socio-pedagogical centers with shelters in Oktyabrsky and Frunzensky districts of Minsk.
