Thus, on March 26, the "Right to Life" event is planned at the Vzap art center. Guests will enjoy an engaging program with handmade masterclasses for children and adults, an acoustic concert, and even a beauty salon where those willing can experience the skilled hands of professional hairdressers and makeup artists. But the main stars of the celebration, of course, will be the whiskered and tailed pets, whom volunteers will bring in search of kind owners and new homes for the animals. In addition, a minimum charitable contribution is set as an entrance fee, the funds from which will be directed to assist the Vitebsk shelter for stray animals.
On April 8, a large program will be organized on the grounds of the cultural and historical complex "Golden Ring of Vitebsk 'Dvina'". The large-scale charity fair "Looking for a Friend" is primarily aimed at helping shelter pets find new homes. By the way, all animals have veterinary passports, have been treated for parasites, and are very hopeful of meeting a loving family. Those who decide to adopt a four-legged friend on this day will receive gifts from one of the organizers - the foreign enterprise "VIK - Animal Health". You will need to bring your passport, as well as a carrier for a cat or a leash and collar for a dog.
"At the beginning of 2017, the Vitebsk shelter for stray animals faced a funding problem: the allocated funds will barely suffice until the beginning of June. Yet, today the institution houses over 300 cats and dogs. We could not stand aside. Thus, the joint initiative of 'VIK - Animal Health' and the UNESCO club 'Pride' at Vitebsk Secondary School No. 21 was born. The idea was supported by the active participation of students and staff of Gymnasium No. 3 of Vitebsk. The event will help not only find new homes for the animals but also organize the collection of funds, food, and items for the shelter," the organizers emphasized.
Everyone attending the event will be able to participate in a no-lose lottery, masterclasses, purchase handmade souvenirs at the fair (proceeds will go to help the Vitebsk shelter), attend a festive concert, learn about the secrets of ethnotherapy, and get acquainted with the products manufactured by the enterprise "VIK - Animal Health".
