13:55:56 13/7 RKO, RO, RGV / 4 13 July, Minsk / BELTA correspondent /. The Belarusian Oil Company (BNK) is considering the possibility of delivering Venezuelan oil to Belarus through the ports of Lithuania and Latvia, the BNK informed a BELTA correspondent. Currently, a new logistics scheme for the delivery of Venezuelan oil through Estonia is being worked out. Thus, a tanker with oil for Belarus with a capacity of about 80 thousand tons is expected to arrive at the Estonian port of Muuga on July 23 and will be sent by rail for processing at Naftan OJSC. Whether Venezuelan oil will be delivered to Belarus through Estonia further, the BNK could not answer. Also, two more tankers with a capacity of about 80 thousand tons each are en route. The oil will be delivered according to an already established scheme through the port of Odessa and then by rail to the Mozyr Oil Refinery. One of these tankers with 76 thousand tons of oil is expected to arrive at the port on July 17. This is the fourth tanker delivering oil from Venezuela to Belarus through the territory of Ukraine. Currently, at the transshipment base of the Odessa Sea Commercial Port, the loading of about 30 thousand tons of Venezuelan oil, delivered to Odessa at the end of June by the previous tanker, from the tanks of the oil and gas terminal into railway tank cars is continuing. More than 35 thousand tons of oil have already been sent to the Mozyr Oil Refinery for further processing in recent days. The first two batches of hydrocarbon feedstock from Venezuela (with a volume of about 80 thousand tons on each of the tankers) were delivered to the seaport of Odessa at the end of April and in the second half of June of the current year. The BNK noted that tankers with oil for Belarus are dispatched from Venezuela almost weekly. An agreement on the supply of Venezuelan oil to Belarus was signed in March of the current year. According to the agreements of the presidents of the two countries, the total volume of its supply should be about 4 million tons over 12 months. The first batch of hydrocarbon feedstock from Venezuela (80 thousand tons) was delivered in May to the Mozyr Oil Refinery. Its processing has been completed to date. -0-
