The regional pedagogical conference "Efficiency, Systemicity, Professionalism – Priorities of the Educational Policy of the Vitebsk Region" will bring together education and science professionals from all cities and districts of the region in Vitebsk. The participation of the leadership of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and representatives of the Ministry of Education is planned. The focus of the participants will be on the results of preparing educational institutions for the new academic year, the outcomes of the past academic year, as well as future work objectives, taking into account the points raised during the Republican Pedagogical Council. An exhibition will also be held, reflecting the main directions and achievements of the region's education system over the past year, showcasing school media, and educational and play materials for preschool institutions. Educators will consider more specific tasks on August 30 at district conferences.
Dmitry Khoma noted that the region's educational institutions are already ready for the new academic year. Their inspection has been completed in all cities and districts, with the exception of Dubrovensky district, where the handover of educational facilities is scheduled for August 30 and is primarily related to landscaping. Classes in schools with a two-shift system will begin at 8:30 AM. In schools with a single-shift system, classes will start at 9:00 AM. The change in timing will not affect the effectiveness of the educational process.
